What is a bilingual document export?

Can it translate scanned documents?
Yes. The scan goes through OCR first — complex layouts included — then translation runs block by block, with the original kept alongside the whole way.
How is this different from pasting into a chatbot?
A chatbot hands you translated text with no layout and no way back to the source — you can't tell which sentence answered to which paragraph. Here every block keeps its position in the original page, and the aligned view mirrors scrolling and zoom on both sides.
