Billing questions
How does billing work?
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance in USD through Stripe — monthly or annually. Annual billing costs 10× the monthly price, so you get 2 months free. Your quotas refill at the start of each billing period.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Sign in, open the account menu and choose Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal, then cancel there. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period. You can also email support@ohmyocr.com from your account email.
What happens if I use up a quota mid-month?
Each plan has two monthly pools: credits (covering parsing, OCR, compare, convert and extraction) and translation characters. If a pool runs out, the features it covers pause until your next billing period — or you can upgrade to a larger plan from the billing portal, or add a one-time Pages Pack of credits.
Do unused quotas roll over?
No. Quotas are monthly pools that reset each billing period. You can burn through an entire pool in one day if a big job calls for it.
Can I get a refund?
The first-ever subscription payment on your account is eligible for a full refund when requested within 14 calendar days, even if you change plans during that window. Plan-change charges themselves, renewals, later subscriptions, and ordinary cancellations after the window are non-refundable; cancel any time to stop the next renewal. Billing errors, duplicate charges, unauthorized payments, and mandatory legal rights are reviewed separately. One-time Pages Packs are non-refundable. Is there a free tier?
Yes. Every account gets 30 free credits and 10,000 translation characters each month — renewed monthly, forever, with no credit card required. Subscribing replaces the free allowance with your plan's larger monthly quota.
